A full enclosure for a clawfoot or freestanding tub, hung from the ceiling on three solid brass drops so nothing touches the tub or the walls. It's unlacquered solid brass with nothing applied on top, so there's no plating to wear through in the steam. The brass deepens to a warm patina with use, and a polish brings the shine back whenever you want it.

Unlacquered brass reacts to air, water and touch. It starts bright and warms over the months into a softer, deeper gold. To keep it bright, use any brass polish; to let it age, simply wipe it dry.
Installation
Fix the three ceiling flanges into joists, or use the anchors supplied for drywall. For a slanted ceiling, beams or a tub longer than 72″, request a custom size.

Will it fit my tub?
Measure your tub's outside length at the rim. Tubs from 55″ to 72″ long fit one of our four standard sizes; the size guide tells you which. Longer, wider or unusually shaped tubs, sloped ceilings and beams are handled with a custom size, built to a drawing you approve first.
What's in the box?
The rod, three ceiling drops already cut to your ceiling height, three ceiling flanges, screws, wall anchors, solid unlacquered brass curtain rings and an illustrated installation guide. The shower curtain isn't included.
Which shower curtain do I need?
For a full enclosure, choose a curtain at least as wide as the rod's perimeter: about 160″ for the 54″ size, 175″ for the 60″, 185″ for the 64½″ and 200″ for the 70″. Standard clawfoot curtains are about 70″ long, which suits a rod hung at about 77″.
How is it installed?
Screw the three ceiling flanges into ceiling joists where you can, or use the anchors supplied for drywall, then hang the rod from the drops. Two people make it easier. If you're unsure about your ceiling, a handyman can fit it.
How do I care for unlacquered brass?
Wipe it dry and let it age: it warms from bright gold to a softer, deeper tone. To bring the shine back at any time, use any brass polish. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh bathroom cleaners on the rod.

Standard sizes can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unused and in their packaging, and we cover return shipping to our US returns address. Custom sizes can't be returned for a change of mind because they're made for your space, but if one arrives with a defect or doesn't match your approved drawing, we fix or remake it free.
